GET A CERTIFICATE
After completing the program, a student will have:
- Knowledge of key insurance industry principles based on successful completion of the introductory course;
- Specialized knowledge in at least one selected area of the insurance industry, such as life, property and casualty, etc.;
- Participated in an experiential internship or applied learning experience at an approved partner company, or additional knowledge in a related professional field;
- Demonstrated certificate and company required foundational skills and work habits, including but not limited to critical thinking skills, communication and organizational skills, and ability to work with and manipulate data in an informational technology environment.
LAND A GREAT JOB
Great jobs are available in the Kansas Insurance Industry in areas such as sales and marketing, finance, insurance operations, and information technology. These jobs are located throughout the state at many companies with a national presence.
In fact, as part of the program, students will have an opportunity to receive scholarships, internships, preferred placement, and other benefits.
